Flame 4 has undergone iterative upgrades through innovative structural design, achieving breakthrough adaptability and enhancing the athletic performance of different runners. It features a self-developed spoon-shaped carbon plate that utilizes the dome effect. The forefoot part is designed as an inverse dome so that the foam can be thoroughly compressed when landing, thus creating a propulsive force. The heel part is designed as a dome to effectively disperse the ground-impact pressure and protect runners' ankles and knees. Additionally, based on the principles of sports mechanics, the carbon plate's middle section is designed to be harder. This facilitates a smooth transition of force from the heel to forefoot, so that the force can be converted into forward propulsion. The softer edges offer superior flexibility and stability during runners' turns. Scientific laboratory tests have confirmed that this groundbreaking carbon plate design reduces ground contact time by approximately 2.7%, significantly improving their performance.
Flame 4 has also optimized its shape to improve running efficiency. The rear heel part is lifted and moved forward to increase the rolling arc of the sole. This enhances wearers' rolling feeling when the sole touches the ground and improves the forward-rolling efficiency. Meanwhile, the forefoot's curved-surface arc boosts lateral-rolling efficiency. Besides, the asymmetric cross-section design offers comprehensive structural support throughout the running, landing and starting process, thus preventing sports injuries. The overall design reduces the barrier to entry for running, allowing runners at all levels to have an excellent sports experience. As a result, Flame 4 encourages more people to join the running boom, enjoy the pleasure of sports, and enhance their physical quality.
