The recently completed renovation of TRIA embodies a spirit of innovation while preserving the essence of the original spa. Drawing inspiration from the Chinese five elements theory (Wuxing), which describes interactions between wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. The design by Barr + Wray integrates these elements into a thoughtfully planned layout. This layout promotes seamless movement between different zones, engaging guests visually and sensorially through careful choices in materials, lighting, and experiential offerings.

Spanning two levels and covering approximately 1,800 square meters, TRIA Spa is designed as a holistic retreat to nurture and inspire. The Spa features MGM’s signature hydrotherapy, offering a journey of relaxation and rejuvenation with unique therapies such as the Hammam Experience, Salt Treatment Room, and Snow Shower. The Hammam Experience, inspired by ancient Roman thermae and Turkish baths, features a vaulted ceiling and marble-clad walls, creating an opulent atmosphere for traditional scrubs and massages. The Salt Treatment Room, constructed from Himalayan salt bricks, provides a serene space for salt inhalation therapy, while the Snow Shower offers a cooling experience with simulated winter snowfall.

The Spa also boasts three distinct pools: the Watsu Pool for anti-gravity water-based therapies, the Vitality Pool with massage jets and bubble elements, and the Experience Pool, which features LED screens, special lighting, atmosphere sound system and an overhead rain shower to create immersive scenarios like Thunderstorm, Rainforest, or Tropical Beach. Additionally, the Oxygen Air Pod, scientifically supported wellness tool that is transforming how we manage our health and well-being and promotes enhanced breathing and relaxation.

In addition to these unique features, Tria Spa includes typical areas such as treatment and massage rooms, foot massage, manicure and pedicure areas, and a gym and yoga room.
