Nestled in Qingshan Village, Shuanglang Town, Dali, Yunnan Province, Lake Mountain Cloud Hermitage・Qingshan overlooks the Erhai Lake ,offering a rare cliffside seaview resort destination that integrates homestays, weddings, art, and natural experiences. Guided by the core philosophy of "Wild, Romantic, Sustainable," the project aims to redefine the resort lifestyle along Erhai Lake and establish China’s first cliffside art-integrated resort complex.

Design Highlights:

Rarity & Uniqueness: Leveraging the coastal cliff topography, the architecture blends traditional Bai elements (e.g., sloped roofs, stone textures) with modern design (geometric lines, ultra-clear glass), creating a harmonious coexistence of "local identity" and "futuristic aesthetics." Historical traces like original cow sheds and remnant walls are preserved to infuse spaces with narrative and artistic tension.

Immersive Landscape Experience: The landscape design unfolds across five themed zones—Floating Clouds, Serene Forest, Mountain Hermitage, Floral Isle, and Glimmering Waves—featuring multi-level viewing platforms, infinity pools, a cliffside chapel, and flower-adorned wedding lawns. This merges the natural wilderness of Cangshan and Erhai with crafted beauty, offering a romantic, ever-changing journey.

Sustainable Operation Model: Through diverse function (private chef services, nature education, art exhibitions) and two-storey collaboration (with the first Qingshan Village property), the project revitalizes local culture and economy. It prioritizes eco-friendly materials and ecological restoration, advocating a "low-intervention, high-experience" sustainable development approach.

Value & Significance:

Beyond being a luxury resort benchmark, Lake Mountain Cloud Hermitage・Qingshan serves as a model for rural revitalization. Its innovative approach injects new vitality into Dali’s tourism by driving visitor flow, supporting local employment, and reviving cultural heritage. This transforms Qingshan Village from a traditional fishing community into a cultural-tourism integrated village, providing a replicable "mountain-sea symbiosis" paradigm for Dali.
