The project is a 54970sqm commercial complex comprising one high rise tower and ancillary retail podium, with tower height restriction of 150m, named as Shenzhen Transsion Holdings Headquarters. It locates in Nanshan District in Shenzhen City, China. The program of the headquarters includes office, retail, staff canteen, property management and vehicle charging station.

The client envisions the project not only to be an iconic landmark in Shenzhen Liuxiandong Headquarter Base, but also a cultural and multi-level communal space of this region which is in line with Client's Corporation image as a leading tech company advocating the concept of openness, cooperation and sharing. Also Client pursue the quality of commercial space in podium levels instead of generic ancillary retail space.

In response to client’s request on a cultural and multi-level communal space with the concept of openness, cooperation and sharing, we insert three volumns into the main volumn, creating “cloud hubs” in-between each office function zone. Vertical Greening is introdued into two side eleavations in order to create an energy-saving and environment-friendly building. By folding the façade on the west and east side elevation, It enhances not only the architectural aesthetic of facades, but also significantly reduces solar insolation so as to minimize cooling energy used for space cooling. The interiors uses digital installation and green space. The design vitalises the city through enhancing the spatial and public values.

We believe that the vibrancy of an architecture stands not within the physical form but the inspiration it brings to people. “It’s meaningless to just pursue for certain height or form of building. Only when the architectural language aligns with character of the company and functionality it requires, will the building become more than an office.”
