The Aqua Ring, with its distinctive design concept, high-quality materials, and masterful craftsmanship, is a piece of art that combines beauty and practicality. Wearing it not only showcases the wearer’s noble status and refined taste but also provides a sense of transcendence and philosophical reflection while appreciating the beauty of the ring.
The Aqua Ring is a unique crystal ring in the Sand and Foam jewelry collection, inspired by Kahlil Gibran's poetry collection Sand and Foam. The designer uses the natural elements of "sand" and "foam" as metaphors, symbolizing how individuals, like sand, are small in society, while things, like foam, are fleeting and illusory.
The main body of the ring is meticulously crafted from 18K gold, with its golden sheen and delicate texture highlighting the wearer's prestige and taste. The hand-polished white crystal is clear and transparent, resembling pure foam, and forms a striking contrast with the 18K gold.
What sets this design apart is the clever use of invisible setting technology, which perfectly integrates the white crystal with the metal part. The metal features a traditional Chinese joinery technique, similar to that used in traditional furniture-making, allowing the white crystal to be securely set into the ring while maintaining an invisible effect. This not only enhances the ring’s elegance but also showcases its exquisite and unique craftsmanship.
