The key for this project was to create balance—allowing visitors to experience the rich heritage of Ottoman hammams while also reflecting Miami’s modern and glamorous spirit.

While designing, the team focused on preserving the essence of a Turkish hammam: the soothing warmth of marble, the echoing sound of flowing water, and the enchanting scents of exotic flowers and spices. The goal was to ensure that these traditional elements not only provide deep relaxation and cultural authenticity, but also allow visitors to emotionally connect with the legendary love story of Sultan Suleiman and Hürrem Sultan.

At the same time, Miami’s aesthetic required a bolder approach. To achieve this, the team incorporated elegant yet striking authentic lighting, modern textures, and patterns that reflect the sun-drenched energy of the city. By seamlessly blending these elements, they aimed to create a space that remains true to its traditions while also offering a modern, luxurious, and contemporary atmosphere.

The spa’s interiors feature meticulously crafted Ottoman-inspired design, from the hand-carved wooden accents to the elegant tile work, evoking the grandeur of a royal bathhouse. These baths are adorned with stunning marble surfaces, intricate mosaics, beautiful domed ceilings, mosaic chandeliers, elaborate tilework, and heavy wooden doors. The sweet scent of Damask rose fills the air—every detail inspired by history and made authentically in Turkey itself.

All these elements—warmth, the sound of water, authentic scents, and the love of Suleiman and Hürrem—come together to create an experience that is not only physically but also mentally rejuvenating. A hammam is not just a cleansing ritual; it is a bridge between the past and the present, a journey of renewal and rebirth.
