This design project elaborates the life attitude of the homeowner’s family. Regarding the rise of environmental awareness has grown in recent years, the designer used the healthy and green building materials that created a low-formaldehyde and nontoxic home.



The undertone of low chroma developed the calm and poised charm of space. The embellishments depicted the exquisite atmosphere and brought forth the enriched layers of visual effect. The precise arrangement of space skillfully defined the boundaries among area, thus creating the unrestricted and clear-cut depth of field.



The design project focused on expressing the brilliant fashion sense and place vision that brought out the arrangement of real-and-virtual relationship with the logical thoughts planning layout and interior design reflected by the orders and lights. The selection of materials and the mastery of colors organized the impeccable rhythms and sequences of space.



As to the selection of building materials, the designer conducted the evaluation of “health hazard levels” to the building and decoration materials, all of which were assessed by the emission rates of “low formaldehyde (HCHO)” and “low total volatile organic compound (TVOC)” as indicators so to ensure the use of healthy building materials and the protection of healthy indoor space for the family.



Green building materials are made of the endless natural materials that decompose quickly and adhere to the local industrial features. They require low degree of process and consumption of energy to recycle materials. After being reprocessed, the finished building materials can reduce wastes, reuse wastes, and recycle wastes. The resource depletion can be avoided, and the ecological waste can be reduced.

The logical use of good building materials reduces the damages to nature and lowers the construction costs. The efforts to preserve the gifts from nature make people to live with the environment in a more friendly and sustainable relationship.
