This is a packaging design for a fish sauce.
The packaging design centers around the core creative concept of "Gift of the Ocean, Taste Tradition," skillfully blending the cultural memories of traditional fishing villages with modern sustainable design thinking. Utilizing a watercolor pencil technique with a blue-and-white porcelain tone, it outlines a group of marine fish on biodegradable, eco-friendly material, not only depicting the scene of fishermen's abundant harvest but also metaphorically representing the craftsmanship tradition of handmade sauce-making in traditional fishing families. The main body of the packaging employs bamboo fiber, a biodegradable material, with its surface texture mimicking the woven pattern of Chinese sieves. Inside, the spice caddy for the chili sauce uses the calligraphic ink characters "Fragrant/Spicy" to create a visual focal point, corresponding to the flavor colors to evoke associations with chili levels and construct a sensory imagination space, while the gold foil stamping process enhances the brand image.
By transforming the product's story into a tangible consumer experience, this design reinterprets traditional food culture within a sustainable framework, creating an eco-friendly food packaging solution with collectible value.
