Shadow of Desire

This project explores the interconnected emotions of observation and exhibition. An installation merges tactile and visual intimacy with architectural scale: a framed structure draped in fabric mesh creates a semi-transparent volume, punctuated by strategically placed holes. Two lighting designs shape duality: diffused light invites curiosity and secret glimpses, while focused spotlights transform the space into a stage, casting performers' shadows onto observers. Visitors can inhabit the mesh room, becoming performers, or observe from outside, their interest piqued by the veiled scene within. This interplay prompts reflection on the shifting boundaries between private and public personas in contemporary society.
