Meri Poodom Hotel

Perched at 3,600 meters on a Meili Snow Mountain viewing platform, the Deqin Meri Poodom Hotel by W.DESIGN embodies a journey from the mundane to the sacred. Exploring the essence of "locality," the design transforms this space into "my home in the snow mountains"—a sanctuary for deep dialogue with nature, faith, and the self.



Every visit to the hotel is a special experience, every memory uniquely personal. As a vessel of Modern Orientalism, W.DESIGN seeks to transcend traditional notions of hospitality, focusing instead on creating a deeply spiritual journey for travelers. From spatial design to furnishings, from the interplay of objects to the ambience of the site, designer Wu Bin and his team have employed design as a medium to forge connections between people, spaces, and nature.



Travel is often imbued with spiritual aspirations—a journey of self-dialogue and the pursuit of inner convictions. The Meili Snow Mountain, with its unshakable purity and power, embodies the ideal destination for such a pursuit.



Against this sacred natural backdrop, the hotel transcends being a mere physical sanctuary.
