Home is our personal stage, where stories unfold daily. We are both the actors and the directors, shaping life's scenes through small choices. The home's outline forms in the imagination, like a journey through changing light and colors, each frame holding untold stories. In this project, the designer has infused the poetry of “home” into every detail, transforming the space into a canvas where emotions and memories take shape.

Home’s comfort is undefined freedom, a flowing emotion. At its core, this project aims to craft a living environment that seamlessly blends modern lifestyles with echoes of history and culture. It’s a space where the past and present coexist, allowing for a sense of continuity while embracing contemporary sensibilities.

In the selection of furniture and materials, the designer has carefully layered details to create an atmosphere imbued with a feeling that drifts between nostalgia for Shanghai’s past and an imaginative vision of shifting light and shadows. The space holds an inherent presence, a quiet energy that reflects both classic interpretations of living and a sense of theatricality, rich in depth and emotion.

Throughout the design process, Designer Wu Bin has remained deeply respectful of the space’s original structure and materials, breathing new life into them through modern techniques. At the same time, emphasis has been placed on the interaction between space and its inhabitants. Every detail is thoughtfully considered to inspire those who live within, allowing them to find beauty in the everyday and a deeper connection to their surroundings.
