The landscape design for Phase II of the Zhongguancun Daxing High-End Medical Equipment Industrial Park is guided by the concept of “Harmonizing East and West, Continuity and Integration.” This approach seamlessly blends the structured elegance of Western academic-style landscapes with the poetic charm of traditional Chinese gardens, creating a sophisticated, balanced environment that embodies both cultural depth and modern functionality.
Inspired by classical Western academic architecture, the design adopts a central axis layout, incorporating elements such as symmetrical pathways, lush greenery, and red-brick facades that evoke a sense of order, discipline, and intellectual rigor. Rows of trees line the roads, shaping a dignified and structured atmosphere that naturally associates with academic settings and institutions. This structured arrangement fosters an environment of professionalism, learning, and innovation, reinforcing the park’s role as a hub for high-end medical advancements.
At the same time, the design integrates key elements of traditional Chinese gardens, embracing the principles of natural harmony and seamless interaction with the environment.
