NOMBRO HYBRID watch

The NOMBRO HYBRID watch is inspired by the cyberpunk genre, which back in the 80s managed to predict modern reality. The dystopian world described by iconic science fiction writers has become even more relevant today. Works in the cyberpunk style address issues of the relationship between humans and modern technologies, as well as themes of kitsch, inequality, and human impact on the environment.

The hallmark of the limited edition NOMBRO HYBRID collection is the Japanese EPSON PX85A Hybrid Automatic movement, 7 ruby jewels (Seiko Group). Hybrid 一 is a modern class of watch movements that combines the autonomy of mechanical and the accuracy of quartz watches. This effect is achieved by managing three types of energy: mechanical (charging from wrist movements), electromagnetic (converting mechanical energy into electrical) and electrical (acting on the quartz crystal).

Cyberpunk aesthetics are dominated by night cityscapes and artificial neon light. The design of the dial and indicators of the model refers to this style. Vertical stripes on the dial symbolize city highways, and the Superluminova illumination of the indicators and hands ensures comfortable time orientation at night. The models feature a duplicate 24-hour indication ring and a fourth hand with a GMT function for tracking time in a second time zone. Additionally, the watches are equipped with a calendar function.

The models are presented in six colors that correspond to the concept. The satin-finished surface of the case back is engraved. The central part is made of hardened tinted glass with printing. The back of the case is also engraved. The pictogram indicates the key advantage of the movement – its exceptional autonomy, not requiring power source replacement and daily winding. The battery is charged during wear and use of the watch.

A steel bracelet with a quick-release mechanism was specially designed for the NOMRO HYBRID models. The watch case is made of stainless steel, the front glass is sapphire with anti-reflective coating, the back case glass is mineral tinted with printing, and the strap is made of genuine leather. The collection is limited, with only 350 pieces of each model produced.
