EF Study Buddy Smart Speaker

EF Study Buddy is a next-generation smart speaker that brings English language education to life. Designed specifically for kids aged 3 to 6 who are speaking English as a foreign language, it delivers content relevant to their language skill level and creates conversational opportunities to let kids use English naturally as part of the learning curriculum outside the classroom. The look of the speaker is based on one of the main cartoon characters from Education First’s Small Stars Course, Study Buddy projects a distinctive personality and emotions with a pair of animated eyes and lively voice and let young learners immerse with course-related songs, stories & games in multiple ways including card scanning, voice command, and tactile buttons. Content can be periodically updated along with kids' progress and can be triggered freely or by schedule via parents' App. Gamified activities purposely encourage the use of physical movement with the ten NFC cards and voice interaction with a proprietary speech testing engine to reinforce the learning. With the wellbeing and comfort of students paramount, twin monochromatic OLED eyes allow for visual feedback while preventing exposure to disruptive blue light emissions.
