The project encompasses a 300 m2 apartment situated in the deluxe residential neighborhood of Cadbury Hill, Hong Kong. The owners, a young couple, consist of a successful entrepreneur and a devoted homemaker who is dedicated to raising their five cute children.

Considering the distinctive background of the project and the clients' personalities, the design approach employs subtle strokes to create a warm ambiance, presenting an elegant style through simplicity. The spatial arrangement highlights the textures of family life, catering to both parents and children. The refined lines and soft hues characteristic of French design establish the foundational tone of the space, while carefully selected gold accents add a vibrant and sophisticated touch. Various design elements harmoniously interact and blend within this environment, fostering a unique atmosphere of lightness, gentleness, and luxury.

The residence is indeed a fusion of two previously separate living units, and the designer has removed the partition wall that divided them. Following the renovation, the living and dining areas have been unified into a spacious, open layout, allowing for greater movement and interaction among family members.

The living room features a zigzag motion design that fosters an intense sense of enclosure and promotes direct communication and interaction among individuals.

Considering that the owner and his wife have five children, a dedicated children's activity area has been deployed on one side of the living room. This space includes slides, climbing walls, and various engaging facilities, seamlessly connecting to the public area, allowing parents to easily supervise their children and enhancing parent-child interaction.

The overall design is inspired by the French cream style. To counteract the potential visual lightness from the extensive use of light colors, the designer intentionally selected a round coffee table made from logs and walnut. The table's substantial material and rich color stabilize the visual balance of the space.

The entire area features a blend of tension and relaxation, reflecting the owner's unique taste and lifestyle aspirations achieved through social advancement, and skillfully merging functionality with artistic expression.
