To satisfy the couple's need for intense focus while working from home, the project strategically established the living room study as the central hub, crafting a workspace that is both professional and comfortable. Drawing inspiration from a monochromatic palette of black, gray, and white—symbols of minimalism and rational thought—the design achieves a harmonious blend of precise color coordination and fluid circulation. This results in an orderly space imbued with dynamic visual tension that resonates with the rhythm and quality of modern urban life. The seamless transition between home and office enhances both aesthetic appeal and efficiency, all while reflecting a distinctly personalized style.

The design is based on an open plan, seamlessly connecting the living room and study to create a more spacious and flexible living area. A standout feature is the use of artistic paint on key accent walls. Unique textures achieved through trowel and hand-applied techniques injected an artistic expression into the space; set against a cool-toned base, delicate layers emphasized the inherent beauty of the materials. This approach is applied to the living room TV wall as well as the headboard areas in both the master and children’s bedrooms, creating a rich, dynamic texture that balances a sense of calm with lively energy.

To ensure that the social area can effectively accommodate both work and daily living, the design placed special emphasis on circulation planning, allowing residents to remain focused and comfortable as they moved between different zones. Moreover, by carefully balancing proportions of black, gray, and white, a low-key yet refined visual aesthetic is achieved, with selective warm tones harmonizing the different areas. The result is a design that maintains overall cohesiveness while offering layered visual interest—a space that is both elegantly consistent and richly textured.
