「Gathering the Small into the Many 」
Mission: From Abstract to Tangible
Located within the new headquarters building in Shenzhen's Qianhai District, the WeBank Qianhai Showroom is designed to showcase WeBank's strategic brand upgrade. As China’s first private Internet bank, WeBank sought to create an experiential space that embodies its mission: “Making Finance Inclusive for All.” The challenge was to translate this abstract concept into a tangible, immersive environment. One that reflects how individual contributions combine to shape a greater whole. The stories behind these individuals are central to WeBank’s journey and required a space where the narrative could be experienced in a way that speaks to both intellect and emotion.
Idea: Visual Metaphor of WeBank
“Gathering the Small into the Many” became the guiding design principle. A particle-based visual language symbolizes individuals: users, partners, employees. Together, they shape WeBank’s identity and impact. The exhibition spans two floors (both L-shaped spaces), connected by a single staircase. A carefully curated flow guides visitors through the brand’s story, cultural philosophy, and achievements, enhanced by a blend of natural elements and digital aesthetics that deepen engagement.
Solution: A Multi-sensory Experience Journey
Covering 960 sqm the showroom transforms abstract brand values into a multisensory experience. The exhibition area on the first floor presents WeBank's brand story, corporate culture, and social responsibility, while on the second floor it is to showcase its innovative achievements across various financial sectors. The journey blends innovative achievements with emotional storytelling. By engaging with digital avatars, naked-eye 3D, and interactive data sculptures, visitors are invited to experience how WeBank empowers individuals through technology.
