The Journey of Light Weaving

"The Journey of Light Weaving" is a contemporary mixed-use residential complex in the city. This striking architectural masterpiece unites three distinct buildings into a cohesive form, covering a total development with 231 residential units and 20 street-level retail shops. Tink Architects takes charge of the overall planning, encompassing the architectural exterior design, public space interior design, and landscaping, with the aim of transforming the local landscape into a sophisticated and elegant urban residential development.



Tink Architects conceived the design theme as "The Journey of Light Weaving" for the overall project. Drawing inspiration from the soft sunlight shining on seashells in the local natural surroundings, the design team transforms the undulating, wave-like 'light essence' into tangible 'Luminous Veil' curves. These gradient light-veiling curves are then embodied as design elements, seamlessly integrated into the design language. It is hoped that this graceful work, with its curved geometric aesthetics, will dance in harmony with nature, weaving a brand-new and vibrant journey of light for the City.



The design concept “Luminous Veil” is proposed for this project. Through unique and poetic approach, Tink Architects interpret the sunlight, the shape of seashells and their curves, weaving them into a symphony of design fluidity. It is envisioned that this unparalleled creative work exudes warmth, serenity, and artistic sophistication, and is expected to become a truly awe-inspiring landmark on local eastern coast.



Public space Interior & Landscape Design

The public spaces extend the design concept of “Luminous Veil” throughout the project. Tink Architects seamlessly integrate wave-like curved elements and language into both the interior and landscape designs. At the same time, this approach resonates with the design theme of "The Journey of Light Weaving, " striving to make each public space evoke an artistic 'painting' and provide users with a multi-layered spatial feast that is both visually and sensorially rich. The design team aspires to employ dazzling wave-like curves, weaving a truly brilliant realm of radiant “Luminous Veil” for the residents.
