“Digit” Valley is located in Dongshan Subdistrict, Yuhua District, Changsha. Strategically adjacent to Changsha South Railway Station and connected to Metro Lines 2 and 4, this 598,749㎡ mixed-use complex spans 147,999㎡, serving as a pioneering model under China’s smart city initiatives to synergize technological innovation, urban connectivity, and ecological resilience.
Departing from traditional tech park models, the project redefines urban innovation through its three interconnected valleys—Digital, Interconnected, and Ecological—where cutting-edge industries, civic life, and sustainable landscapes converge. By fostering innovation-driven collaboration, industry-urban integration, and climate-adaptive ecosystems, it creates a dynamic platform for diverse activities, from cross-border livestreaming hubs to biodiverse green corridors.
The masterplan strategically aligns three functional clusters—Telecommunications Services, Future Digital Innovation, and Cross-Border Trade—within a geometric framework inspired by modular “digital cubes.” The entire site tilts southeastward, creating a “digitized ridge” along the wind axis. This orientation elevates the western facade to shield interiors from traffic noise while reducing direct acoustic exposure, harmonizing technical performance with ecological sensitivity.
A central circular bridge and interlinked corridors seamlessly connect the three zones internally, while externally integrating the Liuyang River Ecological Park’s scenic resources. This dual connectivity strengthens industrial collaboration and public accessibility, forging a vibrant civic-tech interface. The design further engages in a spatial dialogue with the neighboring Changsha International Conference Center, enhancing the district’s identity as a global innovation hub.
Architecturally, the cubic modules dynamically coalesce into a multi-scalar “valley,” blending human-centric spaces with symbolic digital motifs. The interplay of nature, architecture, and technology is emphasized through terraced greenways, biodiverse habitats, and interactive plazas, embodying a vision where industrial progress coexists with ecological stewardship.
