Rooted in Finnish culture, the project weaves thermal baths and saunas into the Arctic hotel experience, while drawing the surrounding forest and northern lights into the architecture itself. The hotel is envisioned as the heart of a refined network of services—offering guests an immersive retreat that balances comfort, seclusion, and nature. Elegant suites are nestled into the landscape, and open-air pools invite visitors to experience the Aurora Borealis from the warmth of the water.

To harmonize with the environment and preserve privacy, the architecture adopts upright and inverted tapered forms—shaped as thermal baths and courtyards—that merge seamlessly with the topography. These sculpted geometries reinterpret familiar rituals through a new architectural lens, creating a spatial experience that is at once unconventional and deeply rooted in place. The site is designed to remain self-sufficient and accessible, ensuring both autonomy and a deep connection to its remote, forested context.
