This is a project for a columbarium to be attached to a temple.

The building was designed with the image of "kura-zukuri," a traditional Japanese architectural method.

With respect for Japanese traditions, the interior and exterior of the building use designs and techniques that have been passed down since ancient times.

However, it is also worth noting that the building does not rely solely on traditional methods and materials, but also incorporates modern architectural methods and materials.

When you enter the building, the first thing you see is a large, symbolic monument. Spotlights shine from the ceiling and floor, and the diffused light creates a beautiful, fantastical atmosphere. It is like a barrier that separates the world of the living from the world of the dead. Visitors will be soothed by this sight.

Looking up at the ceiling, you will see a dynamic coffered ceiling.

Indirect lighting is lit around it, creating a high-quality, gentle space.

This is a place where you can reunite with loved ones who have departed for the afterlife.

It was designed carefully and delicately with that thought in mind.
