This project centers on the concept of “modern relaxation,” integrating nature, comfort, and humanistic care into spatial details through in-depth communication with the client. Inspired by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor’s philosophical focus on subtlety, the design begins with a meticulously crafted door handle at the courtyard entrance, weaving a natural narrative that connects indoor and outdoor spaces. Dual-entry foyers, the master bathroom, and other areas feature stone mosaics with fruit and botanical motifs, while key walls incorporate fruit-themed artistic elements. Soft curves and organic forms dissolve architectural rigidity, creating a space that embodies “natural growth.”
In the living room, traditional layouts are reimagined through collaboration with a feng shui consultant. Sloped skylights and perforated partitions diffuse natural light into the interior, avoiding harsh glare while crafting a dynamic “theater of light and shadow” that evolves throughout the day. Original roof structures retain carefully placed light gaps, harmonizing architecture with natural rhythms.
Soft furnishings adhere to an “invisible design” philosophy, blending modern elegance with functional subtlety. Textural details and spatial proportions conceal aesthetics within utility, culminating in a living environment where “design leaves no trace, yet life radiates warmth”—an ideal sanctuary of understated sophistication.
