About The Entry

Drawing from Scandinavian principles of simplicity, naturalism, and practicality, the design reflects a humanistic approach that emphasizes the relationship between people and space. Set against a low-chroma backdrop, it softly narrates the passage of time through an organic interplay of natural materials and textures.

The living room, dining area, and kitchen are aligned along a single axis, unified through an open-plan layout that enhances the sense of spaciousness and flow. This configuration not only strengthens the interaction between zones but also expands the functional possibilities of each space.

At the entrance, a niche is dedicated to housing authentic pieces from master sculptor Ju Ming’s iconic Tai Chi series, imbuing the space with a sense of grounded composure. In the kitchen, white cabinetry anchors a clean, luminous atmosphere. A central island takes the place of a conventional dining table, reinforcing visual continuity and spatial openness. Along the corridor, a glass partition delineates the study, drawing natural light inward and heightening the sense of brightness and clarity.
