One Ground Design Edition

One world. One ground - places where people come together inspired the Coesfeld company Parador to design its latest design floors, the One Ground Design Edition. From the former Zollverein colliery in Essen with its rustic rustic rusty and steel romanticism, to the historic market hall in Malaga, characterised by its oriental-floral ornamentation, to the Xiangshan Campus in Hangzhou with its classic Chinese shingle look: world-famous meeting places with their very special visual characteristics were the model for the eight extraordinary floors. In order to effectively emphasise the different looks of the eight designs, different materials are used: oak and ash engineered wood flooring, vinyl, laminate as well as the flooring innovation "Modular ONE", introduced at Parador in 2019. The result is expressive floors that all convey a common idea: to understand the floor on which we all stand as a metaphor for understanding, diversity, tolerance and life.
The "Bologna" and "Copenhagen" models appear as engineerd wood flooring. Here you can choose between dark, smoked oak wood with milling or the light, typically Scandinavian ash engineered wood flooring with dark elements. If you prefer vinyl, "Rann of Kutch" is a good choice. With its violet nuances and subtle ornamentation, this model is reminiscent of the folkloric craftsmanship of the Gujarati, among others. "Hangzhou" on the other hand combines the Asian roof shingle look with modern concrete style. With "Malaga" and "Rotterdam" there are also two laminate floors in the programme. Here, the combination of shapes and colours in a vintage tile look is fascinating on the one hand, and a combination of wood and metal look in warm brown and cool turquoise tones on the other. The resilient Modular ONE floor covering developed by Parador is also part of the edition. While "Essen" inspires with linear structures in rusty brown and steel grey, the "Athens" model with the look of white marble provides modernity in the living room.
One Ground complements the comprehensive series of Design Editions from Parador with another versatile collection, in which the facet of design plays a prominent role.
