cocoda cabinet

cocoda cabinet is a storage with an unique structure. It is designed around legs and frames almost like a chair to make a three dimensional and sculptural shape. Top board is hand carved by craftsman using planes for a distinctive finish, and the leg joints are carved by Japanese traditional blades for smoothness. Doors are made with solid wood pieces grafted together in angles to make a circular shape, and the signature handles which are also carved by hand are embed for a functional element. The opening and closing of the doors are calculated to the perfect angle, also finished with a soft closure function.
