Breathing Philosophy for Modern Miniature Houses

In Taiwan's crowded urban environment, living spaces are becoming increasingly limited. This project centers on the concept of "subtractive luxury," redefining the use of urban micro-spaces. Through modern design vocabulary, we effectively reduce the density of living spaces, creating an open and comfortable living environment.The linear lighting system and gray mirror materials create a visual extension, complemented by a modular furniture system that achieves "three uses in one of square meters." The primary color scheme features moonlight white paired with iron gray particle textures, with accents of stone gray soft furnishings, injecting a human warmth into the cool rationality. The specially designed floating storage system allows the walls to maintain a sense of breathing space, providing a micro-apartment experience that transcends its actual square footage.

"The Ultimate Interpretation of Black and Gray Aesthetics | A Dialogue of Titanium Metal and Light"

This project is based on a serene black and gray palette. Through the precise composition of titanium metal and light strips, the display cabinet is elevated to an artistic installation within the space.



Design Highlights Metal Optical Frame

The display cabinet features titanium-coated metal strip lights, outlined by a 5mm ultra-thin frame that delineates the boundaries of light. The cool metallic sheen creates a subtle material dialogue with the black and gray base.



Designer's Conclusion Design Thinking

"We view lighting as the invisible brush of the space, with titanium metal frames acting like the borders of a painting, allowing each collection piece to become the star on a black and gray stage, illuminated by precisely calculated light and shadow. As night falls, this wall transforms into a light theater of a private gallery."
