Veya AI Home Health is an AI-powered smart home health system designed to support families caring for children with CP. Using camera-based posture detection and a mobile end application, Veya identifies unsafe body positions in real time and instantly alerts caregivers, empowering them to intervene quickly while reducing the burden of constant oversight.
Unlike wearable solutions on the current market, Veya is non-invasive and blends seamlessly into daily life. Its architecture leverages existing home infrastructure, making it cost-effective and accessible. Designed for flexibility and real-world variability, the system is scalable across different home layouts and adaptable for other neurological conditions.
From a UX/UI perspective, Veya focuses on calm, responsive interaction. The application employs high-contrast information hierarchy, real-time feedback, and simplified navigation to reduce cognitive load under pressure. As UX designer, I shaped the product’s flow and visual system based on caregiver research, ensuring clarity and emotional reassurance during stressful moments.
Veya bridges design, healthcare, and AI technology. It acts as a digital guardian, protects children, supports families, and reimagines home-based care—creating a safer, more dignified future for children with disabilities.
