Fengqi Bay Intelligent Manufacturing Base (Plot A)

Located in the heart of Wuxi’s urban core, Plot A of the Fengqi Bay Intelligent Manufacturing Base is strategically positioned adjacent to a well-established residential district, schools, and other key urban amenities. The surrounding area is home to a cluster of planned industrial parks, offering a robust foundation for industrial development. With direct access to the city’s expressway network and high traffic volumes in the vicinity, the project prioritizes thoughtful and efficient traffic organization as a critical design challenge.

Guided by five core principles—openness, continuity, efficiency, sharing, and sustainability—the project aims to set a benchmark for modern industrial campuses. The planning strategy adopts a three-dimensional, multi-layered development model, featuring permeable architectural interfaces and a guiding landscape system that together create clear visual corridors and enhance circulation efficiency. A central axis is innovatively reimagined to activate the waterfront and street edges, integrating industrial exhibition, business interaction, and leisure into a dynamic, multi-use public realm.

As a model of industrial–urban integration, the project employs a holistic approach rooted in mobility, ecology, function, and culture. Through this systems-based planning, the design establishes an intelligent, efficient, and low-carbon industrial ecosystem—serving as a powerful catalyst for the region’s smart manufacturing transformation.
