Water is not merely the source of life; it is also the flowing soul of a region. FLOWS VILLA is nestled by the Baima Lake, surrounded by mountains and waters, boasting exceptional natural resources. Based on the project's local attributes and starting from its cultural essence, we delved into the story of Baima Lake, introducing the landscape into the garden to present a scene of natural mountain living.
Before stepping through the gate, one is greeted by the gentle sound of flowing water, infusing the site with the serene and ethereal ambiance of Baima Lake. An elegant ceremonial entrance creates the first impression, initiating the journey through the four-tiered landscape spaces. As one steps inside, the internal corridor space narrows the field of vision, while the openings interspersed within are the voids where the landscape and architecture echo each other. The soft sunlight, along with natural vegetation and gravel, mellows the hard edges of the internal corridor.
Turning a corner, the vista suddenly opens up, revealing the entire sunken space before one's eyes. The cascading waterfall mirrors the sky's light and clouds' shadows, seamlessly connecting with the negotiation room, extending and blending the indoor and outdoor auras infinitely. The sunken water courtyard encapsulates the nature and life of Baima Lake within this realm. Its layout echoes the form of islands within the lake and lakes within the islands of Baima Lake, abstractly capturing the essence of natural landscapes. With rocks, flowing water, and vegetation as the key elements, the hardness of the rocks harmonizes with the softness of the flowing water and vegetation. Every step taken reveals subtle textures. Attention to minute details elevates luxury into an intangible spatial aura, seamlessly integrated into the site. The water curtain cascading from above connects the sunken courtyard with the upper-level space, forming a tenuous yet meaningful link.
