About The Entry

“Home is a personal retreat”—this idea lies at the heart of quiet luxury. Instead of showy extravagance, the design turns to subtle warmth and quiet sophistication, much like the arched ceiling that softens each corner with its gentle curve. Natural marble and wood veneer are selected for their honest texture and quiet grace, creating a calm and measured atmosphere where comfort takes place in everyday life. The layout draws on feng shui principles, weaving together culture, function, and aesthetics. The result is a space that nurtures harmony while answering the needs of grown children who seek connection and independence. By finding common ground between generations, the design centers on emotional resonance, balancing privacy and togetherness to shape a comfortable home and quietly unite those who live within. The homeowner started his factory from scratch. The heavy workload made him yearn for a home as a place to unwind, a personal retreat. In response, the design centers on a refined yet understated take on luxury, expressed through carefully chosen marble and natural wood veneer. These materials convey both warmth and elegance while maintaining a sense of restraint that reflects a harmony between beauty and sustainability. Curved lines flow throughout the space, a quiet metaphor for wholeness and acceptance. Indirect lighting brings depth and softness, casting a gentle glow that mirrors the family’s rhythm and emotional needs. From texture to vibe, the home becomes a truly cozy and peaceful place of belonging.

Carefully plan the home to meet the shared and independent needs of the grown children. In the living room, a single extended sofa anchors the space, not merely for sitting but for gathering and talking. The dining area, framed by a softly glowing pendant light and translucent stone, takes on a quiet warmth at night, setting the stage for family dinners that feel easy and intentional. As the son prefers dark colors, the designer exploits a calm color scheme to harmonize with the bright main tone, ideally achieving concentration and a relaxed atmosphere for working from home.
