About The Entry

This prime property, just a four-minute walk from the station, is located along a main road leading directly to the station. However, despite its excellent accessibility, the constant flow of people and vehicles to and from the station and national highway posed a significant challenge: maintaining privacy in an open, road-facing garden. We recognized that constantly keeping the living room curtains drawn would prevent residents from fully enjoying the spaciousness and comfort of their new home.

To address this, we conceptualized two plots as a single unit, creating a "highly private residence that leverages intermediate spaces." We mitigated the issue of direct sightlines from the busy road by strategically incorporating these intermediate zones and integrating the two buildings, proposing a comfortable and pleasant living environment in the main living areas. By subtly shielding views from the exterior, we achieved an open yet private space that connects seamlessly with the outdoors, even without curtains. The result is a home where your family can truly relax and enjoy abundant natural light and refreshing breezes.
