Spring Encounters

Within the forest of steel and concrete that is the modern metropolis, people yearn for a sanctuary where body and mind can detach from reality and immerse themselves in a purely sensory experience. The core of this project is the creation of an "Urban Folding Space"—not merely a functional spa, but a narrative domain that guides visitors through different dimensions, awakening their inner perceptions. We use light as the medium and water as the soul, artfully blending the sharp edge of futurism with the tranquility of Eastern philosophy. The design challenge lies in how to create both a stunning visual spectacle reminiscent of an interstellar journey and an atmosphere of ultimate, heart-soothing tranquility within the same space. The solution lies in the art of 'boundaries' and 'transitions'. By deconstructing and reassembling the spatial sequence, we have forged a complete 'path of immersion'—a journey from the hustle and bustle to serene silence, from the outer world to the inner cosmos. 1. Prologue: The Gate of Time and Space (Entrance & Lobby) The visitor's journey begins in a lobby of powerful visual impact. Symmetrical, grand structures, a colossal central light column, and matrix-like walls of blue and cyan light collectively form a "Gate of Time and Space" leading to another dimension. The cool tones contrast sharply with the fiery red handrails, creating a threshold between reality and fantasy. This is not merely an entrance, but a psychological cue, inviting guests to shed their worldly burdens and prepare to enter a new dimension. 2. Transition: The Spiritual Rotunda (Circular Library) Passing through the "Gate of Time and Space," visitors arrive not at the pools, but at a circular library. This space serves as the design's "spiritual buffer zone." A dark, cylindrical structure envelops a world of books illuminated by warm light, while a halo-like ring of light on the ceiling casts a soft glow, symbolizing wisdom and contemplation. Here, the spatial rhythm shifts from dramatic to gentle, allowing the visitor's mind and body to settle and relax, preparing them for the aquatic experience to come.
