JINMAO PUYIN MEIXI

The project is located in Yuelu District, Changsha, covering 6,540 square meters. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing water on one side, it echoes the feng shui pattern of Yuelu Academy, one of China's four ancient academies.
The design inherits the spatial form and hierarchy of Yuelu Academy, using a progressive courtyard space to guide the homecoming mood. It draws on the gardening techniques of stacking mountains and arranging waters in traditional gardens, utilizing local native rocks to create secluded pools, streams, waterfalls and peaks. The rich natural landscape fully engages the residents' multiple senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell, creating an immersive three-dimensional landscape of mountains and waters.
Inheriting the cultural of "a thousand years of academic heritage", the project deeply integrates natural landscapes with living spaces. By constructing scenes of literati life, it creates an immersive oriental aesthetic realm that can be visited, appreciated and lived in.
Integrated cross-disciplinary design incorporating landscape, architecture, interior and floodlighting creates an immersive experience of wandering in a picturesque garden.
