Chimelong Kaka Theater

We have moved beyond the passive spectatorship of traditional theaters, transforming the entire space into a "storytelling companion." The design is guided by the narrative of "following a clown's footsteps into a fairy-tale dream," weaving three distinct themed zones into a complete narrative arc that ushers visitors from the real world into a whimsical dreamscape. The Entrance: The Dream Mirror The journey begins at a mystical entrance. We reimagined the structural load-bearing columns as the "Guardians of the Dream," each a unique character inspired by Chimelong's Ocean Kingdom. Using mirrored surfaces and ethereal light effects, all set against a palette of silver and light blue, we've crafted a fantastical prelude that beckons visitors through the gateway to a world of wonder. The Transition: The Rainbow Bridge This is a transitional passage between reality and the dream world. Iridescent gradient colors and interactive floor projections simulate the dynamic experience of walking through a rainbow. Every step deepens the sense of immersion, signaling the visitor's descent into a vibrant, multi-hued dream. The Core: Candy Hill The climax of the journey is a core zone of sweet delight. The space is filled with oversized installations of candy, ice cream, and cakes, while a sweet aroma perfumes the air. High-saturation colors like pink, yellow, and green amplify the joyful atmosphere, allowing visitors to become fully immersed in a sense of fairy-tale bliss. This is the ultimate playground for exploration, play, and creating cherished memories. 2. Innovative Interaction: From Spectator to Creator The core breakthrough of this project is the transformation of visitors from passive spectators into active participants. We have designed six immersive interactive experiences that seamlessly blend digital technology with physical installations, creating unprecedented and novel ways to play. The Magic of Digital Art: In the "Pixel Kingdom," children can create their own pixel art through touchscreens and physical blocks. In the "Doodle Forest," reusable graffiti walls and interactive throwing games let their imaginations run wild. The Fun of Technology: The "Dream Photo Studio" utilizes AR costume-changing and AI filter technology to instantly transform every visitor into a fairy-tale character.
