This project introduces a revolutionary Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for the High-Speed 80 Small Boxes Ultra Production Line. By leveraging cutting-edge 3D real-time interaction technology and intelligent design, it transforms the complex cigarette packing production line into an intuitive and controllable digital twin. This enables real-time monitoring, precise control, and data visualization, comprehensively elevating the efficiency and user experience of packaging automation.
Traditional packaging machinery UIs commonly suffer from issues such as confusing information architecture, cumbersome operations, non-intuitive data presentation, and difficult fault diagnosis. These problems hinder production efficiency and increase the risk of operational errors. The challenge lies in creating a UI that seamlessly blends industrial-grade professionalism with a consumer-grade user experience, establishing a new paradigm of simple operation, intuitive information, and efficient decision-making.
The core concept is "Digital Twin: What You See Is What You Get." A high-fidelity 3D model creates a 1:1 mapping of the physical production line, achieving real-time synchronization between the physical and digital worlds. A dark mode theme, paired with a tech-orange accent color, highlights critical information and reduces operator visual fatigue. Through intuitive touch, drag, and gesture controls, users can directly monitor, adjust parameters, and locate faults on the 3D model, significantly lowering the cognitive load.
3D Real-time Interaction: Intuitively control and diagnose by directly tapping on machine components within the model, ensuring precision and efficiency.
Data Visualization: Key metrics like production capacity, work orders, energy consumption, and yield rates are presented in dynamic charts to support data-driven decision-making.
Modular & Process-Oriented Control: The system is broken down into functional modules, following an "Overview → Detailed Control" logic to simplify complex operations.
Ultimate User Experience: Features flat icon design, fluid animations, and a customizable shortcut panel to create a natural and highly efficient operational flow.
This design is projected to increase production management efficiency by over 30%, shorten fault diagnosis times, lower training and operational costs, and reduce production waste. It not only enhances the enterprise's competitive edge but also sets a new benchmark for aesthetics and efficiency in industrial HMI design, leading the packaging automation industry towards a smarter and more efficient future.
