FuZhou Liuhua Creek Riverside

Fuzhou Construction Engineering · Liuhua Creek draws inspiration from the city’s centuries-old Huazhao Festival, blending local traditions with Nanyang architectural elegance to create an immersive cultural haven. Designed by CCD Hong Kong Cheng Chung Design and styled by CCD·WOWU Art Consultancy, the 3,200㎡ clubhouse and three show units reinterpret heritage in a contemporary context.

The clubhouse, themed “Floral Charm of Banyan & Ocean Rhythms,” layers spatial narratives through “Physical Realm – Artistic Realm – Spiritual Realm.” Traditional crafts such as kesi silk weaving, lacquerware, bamboo weaving, and shell inlay are integrated with modern forms, transforming intangible heritage into a living, interactive experience. Spaces unfold as cultural chapters—from the Nanyang-inspired entry court and silk-thread installation to the Maritime Silk Road gallery, contemporary art showcases, and nature-infused lounges.

The large negotiation lounge features panoramic glazing, tropical floral tiles, and sculptural artworks interpreting the poetic landscapes of Liuhua Creek. Private lounges, themed tea rooms, wine & cigar bar, and indoor pool are articulated with a refined blend of East and West, tradition and modernity.

The show units each embody a distinct narrative: 89㎡ “Dreams of Banyan City” embraces neutral palettes with green accents and artisanal details; 123㎡ “Nanyang Elegance” fuses tropical warmth with Western silhouettes and Chinese layouts for an understated resort aesthetic; 148㎡ “Bvlgari Splendor” channels the brand’s Roman artistry—jewel-toned contrasts, serpentine motifs, and luxurious textures—creating an immersive Italian-inspired living experience.

This project celebrates Fuzhou’s maritime heritage while introducing an international design language, offering residents a poetic lifestyle where cultural memory and contemporary elegance coexist.
