EmoMask

EmoMask is an intelligent mask add-on that mediates communications using the Emotion Sensing AI, which we design to address the communicative problems in the pandemic era and in other situations such as factories and hospitals where wearing masks is necessary.

There are three main implementations of the design:
1. Emotion Sensing With Built-in AI
EmoMask detects intonation features, such as tone and pitch-range when you speak. Next, it recognizes your voice and identifies emotions from your speech, and generates facial expressions dynamically, in real-time.
2. Emotion Calming Feature
EmoMask can help calm you down during stressful situations. When you are interacting with someone wearing a EmoMask and the mask detects increased levels of stress in your speech, it will automatically generate soothing images, colors, and patterns to help calm you down. EmoMask will also do this if it detects potential conflicts arising in your communication by Emotion Sensing AI.
3. Wearable New Fashion
EmoMask is turning masks into a new wearable fashion. When wearing a mask is necessary, it has come to an era that masks are part of our clothing. It generates facial expressions and information with our Emotion Sensing AI in various scenarios. You can also personalize the content via the EmoMask app.
