The project sits along the culturally rich banks of the Xinjiang River, a place long cherished by literati and scholars. Inspired by the Xinjiang Academy Chronicles, the design blends Eastern elegance with international sensibilities to create a refined literati courtyard within a landscape of mountains and waters.
Guided by the vision of “one product, one IP; one city, one iconic destination”, the masterplan adopts a framework of “two axes embracing mountains and waters, one ring enclosing ten courtyards”. Signature urban interface spaces—such as Songyuan Sheng Theater and Yundao Lianjiemen—seamlessly merge function and aesthetics, making the city’s cultural heritage both tangible and experiential.
Drawing on Yingtan’s legend—“ripples swirl within, eagles soar above”—the design transforms this imagery into a landmark community structure. Through digital modeling and precision engineering, an urban lighthouse installation was created, shimmering with metallic brilliance by day and offering immersive audio-visual interactions at night, forging a symbolic link between city and community.
Departing from conventional “multi-layered greenery”, the landscape strategy combines sculpted terrain with the placement of signature pine trees, focusing investment on the Wanhe Songfeng urban frontage. This approach ensures cost efficiency while delivering a distinctive and memorable plant palette.
Facing constraints of urban scale, enterprise capacity, local construction quality, and management costs, the team pioneered a design-led EPC model. This shift from “project-oriented” to “product-oriented” thinking—and from isolated interventions to a holistic vision—ensures design excellence, cost control, and market leadership.
