The Last Play is an XR interactive film that blends VR, MR, and physical space to construct a speculative journey into virtual death design. Set in a future where the act of dying is engineered and consumed as immersive entertainment, the audience enters a neural interface left by a “death experience designer,” uncovering fragmented memories and confronting existential choices. When death becomes repeatable, do we forget how to truly live?
