This project is located near Jinshan Metro Station and Cangshan Wanda Plaza, offering convenient access to transportation and urban amenities. Targeting mid-to-high-end business travelers and leisure guests, the hotel merges humanistic design with local culture, emphasizing a “reading + local photography” theme that elevates the city hospitality experience.
The design is anchored on four core principles: humanity, ecology, comfort, and art. Rooted in Fuzhou’s rich cultural heritage, it integrates modern minimalist design with tactile warmth and visual poetry. The lobby features the “Bamboo House” library, where customized book walls engraved with Fuzhou lacquer patterns interact with immersive AR photography experiences, while a layered scent system blends jasmine, white tea, and cedar to evoke local memory and serenity. Public and semi-public spaces are designed to foster social interaction and cultural discovery, allowing guests to experience the city’s rhythm within the hotel.
Guest rooms focus on the “deep sleep” system, featuring zero-pressure mattresses with 3D honeycomb latex layers, individually sprung supports, and bedding sourced from Xinjiang long-staple cotton. AI-driven environmental controls adjust temperature and lighting based on occupant heart rate, while morning light simulation replicates the spectrum of the Min River sunrise. The integration of natural textures, muted color palettes, and subtle references to Fuzhou landmarks creates a calming and immersive environment.
The restaurant “Xiangzhao” offers an interactive breakfast theater where traditional Fuzhou dishes are prepared on-site, while digital touchpoints guide guests to local culinary treasures. Customized tableware incorporates historical motifs and dialectal inscriptions, merging art, culture, and gastronomy. Fitness and laundry facilities, named “Hanchu” and “Chuchen,” leverage AI technology to optimize exercise guidance and rapid, eco-friendly garment care.
Design challenges—including circulation efficiency, integrating local heritage with modern minimalism, and balancing natural light with acoustic privacy—were resolved through careful zoning, contemporary reinterpretation of historical elements, and advanced Low-E glazing with smart shading. Sustainability features include eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient systems, water recycling, locally sourced food, and community engagement.
Atour Hotel Fuzhou Jinshan harmoniously blends design, culture, and guest experience, offering a high-quality, immersive hospitality environment that celebrates local heritage and promotes wellness.
