"Project Planets " is a series of experimental 3d printed sculptures and graphic works which aims to create new geometries and a science-warning metaphor.

In this series, artist Che-Kuang Chuang imagined that in a fictional universe, humans have created several artificial seeds in order to change the environments on different planets. From the seeds with deep scars reflecting the channel of Mars, the ring-seeds from Saturn and the seed with multiple porosity from Neptune, the artist imagined that all these seeds have changed its’ own geometries, evolved into unique forms based on different planets.

These seeds were created by mankind meanwhile has become part of the nature, blurred the boundary between artifact and natural objects. They become kind of a science warning metaphor for nowadays, showing that all the man-made things are deeply changed the natural environment and meanwhile the surroundings changed humanity eventually.

These series included two parts- scientific graphics design and SLS 3d-printed specimens of the seeds. Through 2d and 3d works, artist Che-Kuang Chuang has created a whole new visual world and articulated his perspective about the future.
