The "Only This Green" Cloisonné Enamel Zun (ritual vessel) masterfully embodies a unique artistic pursuit in its cultural depth, craftsmanship, and form. Inspired by traditional Chinese "green and blue landscapes," it seamlessly integrates natural imagery with Oriental aesthetics into an object, imbuing the piece with a poetic sensibility. Utilizing China's unique cloisonné enamel technique, metal wires delineate contours, and enamel glazes are meticulously applied layer by layer and fired to reveal rich color gradients. Its design breaks from traditional circular forms, innovatively employing a six-petal combination and a "Zun" shape that is angular within its squareness, presenting an artistic aesthetic that harmonizes traditional heritage with a contemporary spirit. The piece's form draws inspiration from traditional Zun vessels, yet it is presented through a geometric, six-petal combined structure. The six petals can be seamlessly joined to form a unified, stable whole, echoing the ceremonial sense of ritual objects. Alternatively, they can be separated into independent segments, offering flexible display options and endowing the object with greater interactivity and spatial adaptability. The distinctive angular "中" (central/middle) character shape challenges the traditional craftsmanship's tendency towards roundness and difficulty with sharp angles in cloisonné, giving the work a structural beauty that combines the solemnity of classical ritual vessels with the rational elegance of modern geometry. As a masterpiece of applied arts, "Only This Green" possesses both ornamental and functional qualities. The overall zun body structure can serve as a central art piece for display, conveying the cultural implications and ceremonial atmosphere of Oriental etiquette. Simultaneously, its well-defined zun-shaped opening and robust alloy casting process give it the properties of a container, allowing it to hold liquids and be used as a wine vessel. This "dual attribute" means the piece is no longer confined to static appreciation but can also be used for gifting, collecting, and other scenarios, truly achieving "both for appreciation and for use."
