Located in the heart of Suqian, the project embraces the scenic beauty of the ancient Yellow River course while enjoying the vitality of a mature urban community. It harmoniously blends the charm of daily life with the serenity of nature. Rooted in Suqian’s thousand-year cultural heritage, the design draws inspiration from the heroic spirit of Xiang Yu’s hometown and the refined elegance of the Qianlong Palace. The result is a residential enclave where modern living needs are seamlessly integrated with the poetic essence of traditional Chinese gardens—an oasis of tranquility within the city’s bustling core.
On the west side, high-rise residences with panoramic layouts capture uninterrupted views of the Yellow River’s seasonal beauty. Within the community, low-density garden houses are arranged along carefully planned landscape nodes, creating a rhythm of “dynamic and serene, ever-changing with each step.” This spatial choreography provides residents with a private retreat amidst urban prosperity.
The main entrance, modeled after the grandeur of the Forbidden City’s Hall of Supreme Harmony, spans approximately 40 meters in width and rises 7.3 meters in height. Passing through this monumental gateway, residents are greeted by layered garden landscapes, transforming the journey home into an elegant, soul-soothing experience.
Architectural facades adopt a classic three-part composition in warm beige and deep coffee tones, exuding timeless simplicity and texture. A subtly elevated central cornice enhances symmetry and ritual, while expansive curved eaves reinterpret the principles of “central axis balance,” reimagining the beauty of traditional Chinese dwellings within a modern architectural language.
The entry lobby continues this oriental aesthetic. Its ceiling panels combined with exposed beams evoke the silhouette of palace eaves. The facade features Kakino gold stone, complemented by brushed bronze-toned steel trims and accented with custom Chinese motifs such as meanders and swastika patterns. Together, these elements craft an atmosphere of dignity, ceremony, and refinement—offering residents not only a home, but a living experience imbued with cultural resonance.
