Feast & Wander reinterprets the penthouse as a dwelling that unites residence, clubhouse, and leisure retreat in a single plane. Rooted in the client’s vision, the design begins with a reimagined plan: the enclosed kitchen is opened to form a seamless dining axis, complemented by a central island and sliding gray-glass doors that preserve visual transparency while containing smoke. One of the three bedrooms is released to create a media lounge and family hall, greatly enhancing spatial efficiency and enriching daily rituals.
Material expression is both refined and bold. Imported thin-slab porcelain, specialty coatings, and titanium-plated metal establish a palette of gravitas and contrast. At the entrance, a triangular wine cabinet becomes both a sculptural feature and a subtle feng shui resolution. Paired with a layered snack bar and mirrored ceiling, the sequence creates shifting focal points from every angle, extending perspective and imbuing the home with ceremony. Behind this composition, hidden storage and an integrated audiovisual wall unfold with discreet precision, ensuring that functionality is seamlessly woven into spatial poetics.
The penthouse’s natural advantages, including its three-meter ceiling height and expansive continuous windows, are amplified into moments of wonder. Mirrored ceilings extend vertical dimension and reflect terrace landscapes inward, while sheer drapery captures and diffuses daylight into luminous veils. Under this choreography of light and reflection, the residence becomes a stage for romance, echoing the immortal verse of Li Bai, the great Tang Dynasty poet of China: “A waterfall plunges three thousand feet, as if the Milky Way fell from the heavens.” Here, the imagery of celestial grandeur is translated into an intimate domestic reality.
