Propel

Propel is an open-source adaptive kayaking aid developed in collaboration with the Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program (BORP) to support individuals with limited hand function. The final design is fully 3D printable and features a variable lattice structure that enables a secure grip while paddling, yet allows safe hand release in emergencies, preventing hand trapping and enhancing accessibility in water-based adaptive sports.
