With the development of the global economy, the traditional way of home is becoming moe and moe difficult to sustain. In such an environment, collective life and architecture are possible choices for human beings. Since the beginning of socialism, architects have tried to creat possibilities for collective living by integrating complex urban functions into large buildings. It can be said that the composite function of condominum is the concentration ofthe architect's performance on the architectural scale of a certain urban function or settlement environment.
As a traditional farming society, Chinese social settlement orginated from the village. This project intends to generate a collective housing with local significance by deconstrcting and translating the social model of traditional Chinese villages.
