Sun & Moon Bar is a transcendent space where ancient Eastern philosophy meets contemporary design, embodying the timeless principle of Yin and Yang. More than a conventional drinking establishment, this two-story venue transforms socializing into a profound exploration of balance, rhythm, and cosmic harmony, creating an immersive journey through the duality of existence.
Drawing inspiration from Laozi's wisdom—"The Tao embodies both Yin and Yang"—the designers have crafted two distinct yet complementary realms. The first floor, "Realm of Sun," pulses with the energy of daylight. Bathed in warm-yellow tones, the space welcomes guests with wooden-texture tiles underfoot and walls adorned with modern water-based terrazzo finishes. A mesmerizing bubble water column commands attention at the center, shifting colors in response to music and seasonal changes, creating an ever-evolving visual symphony that captures the vitality and spontaneity of Yang energy. Warm diffused lighting mimics natural sunlight, layering the space with depth and warmth while inviting conversation and connection.
Ascending to the second floor, guests enter the "Realm of Moon," where the atmosphere transforms dramatically. Cool-gray tones dominate, with walls meticulously crafted to simulate lunar surface textures through dark-gray micro-cement and artistic coatings, creating a tactile, otherworldly experience. The flooring features dark matte tiles that evoke serene stillness. Blue lighting arrays inspired by rocket thrusters line the walls, while a suspended astronaut installation floats ethereally—a poignant tribute to the Apollo missions and humanity's eternal quest to reach beyond earthly bounds. Pale-blue indirect lighting traces contours like moonbeams, with scattered pinpoint lights mimicking distant stars, enveloping guests in a tranquil, contemplative cocoon embodying Yin's essence.
