This jacket redefines functional performance for outdoor enthusiasts engaged in mid-to-long-distance trekking and low-to-mid altitude mountaineering.
One of its standout features is the diagonally aligned ventilation system, engineered to solve a common limitation of traditional jackets: during prolonged activities, even high-performance waterproof, breathable fabrics can’t expel sweat vapor fast enough, leading to heat and moisture buildup. This system precisely aligns the two-way center front zipper and the underarm zippers at the same angle, forming extended, diagonal openings. When unzipped, they create a cross-body draft that rapidly vents excess heat and moisture while simultaneously drawing in fresh, dry air—all without exposing the core or sacrificing warmth. Compared to conventional designs, this approach delivers superior ventilation efficiency through fewer, longer openings, ensuring you stay dry, comfortable, and thermally balanced throughout sustained movements.
Equally innovative is its access solution. Hip belts frequently block lower hand pockets. With most jackets, reaching into inner layers means fully unzipping the front, exposing your core to cold, wind, or rain and causing unnecessary hassle. To solve this problem, the design integrates the two-way center front zipper with a low-placed Napoleon pocket secured by Velcro. You can unzip just the lower slider to access inner layers or open the pocket in seconds, without unzipping the entire jacket. This keeps you protected from wind and rain while minimizing heat loss—a crucial advantage for long hikes and on-the-go access to essentials. This jacket also embodies a “less-is-more” philosophy, consolidating functionality by replacing seven traditional zippers with just four diagonal ones. Its two-way center front zipper and underarm zippers serve dual purposes, promoting airflow while providing storage and simplifying access. These diagonal lines echo the veins of Gaoligong Mountain’s Torch Stone, conveying strength through bold minimalism. Moreover, because zippers are among the most failure-prone components in outdoor apparel, the design reduces their number and enhances functionality, significantly reducing the risk of malfunction and lowering maintenance needs. Further designed for near-total recyclability, this jacket truly unites performance with sustainability.
