The project draws inspiration from the customised lifestyle of high-end luxury hotels, incorporating local cultural elements to distil the natural living state of ‘half garden, half water’ that permeates the area. It draws on early modernist architectural principles as the design language for indoor spaces. This transition from tradition to modernity transforms the juxtaposition and fusion of Chinese and Western cultures into a unique urban hedonistic experience. In the corner unit layout, dark tones are used as the spatial base, employing the open-plan layout commonly found in Shanghai-style architecture to create a multifunctional living and dining area. This is complemented by a panoramic terrace, providing exceptional continuity and fluidity between indoor and outdoor spaces. Large floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outdoor scenery into the interior, collectively creating a spacious and bright living experience. The main backdrop wall features carefully selected natural-textured limestone, paired with large white flowers, dark wood panelling, and antique bronze metal in a blossoming design, layered to showcase the main backdrop's exquisite luxury. The space also features exclusively customised artist-collaboration wallpaper, replicated using silk-screen printing techniques, infusing the entire space with a unique artistic atmosphere. The intermediate suite layout adopts a light colour palette as the spatial tone, combined with a south-facing panoramic balcony to bring in natural light. This is complemented by light-coloured wood panelling and floor stone materials to visually expand the indoor space. Mirrored materials are used as accents to further extend the visual depth of the space. The background wall features Shangri-La stone, blending with the outdoor scenery to bring nature indoors, infusing the entire space with a fresh and elegant living atmosphere.
