“What would I look like if I became an angel after I die?” — this question serves as the starting point of this project. Art, in my view, can be a pathway for people to realize their ideal forms — through tattoos, clothing, or accessories. Much like designing a character at the beginning of an RPG game, this wearable structure is created to achieve that goal in reality.
I have always felt a deep connection with trees since childhood, and even my first name means “a thriving tree.” I often imagine my arms growing into branches that provide shade for living beings, and my feet extending into roots that anchor deeply into the soil I love, standing firm through wind and rain. This vision led to the creation of a tree-like structure and corresponding accessories, which merge with my own body and give form to this project.
I hope this work conveys a sense of beauty, purity, and lightness — qualities that I deeply pursue. The project employs a variety of materials characterized by randomness, such as spray foam, resin, and liquid plaster. The beauty of randomness plays a crucial role in the creative process, shaping the final expression of the work.
